Top Gifts for Jet Setter

Christmas is just around the corner! Can you believe it?! I gathered my top 10 most used travel products and put them together in one list for you! As you know we try to keep everything budget friendly around here, but there are a couple of “splurge” items on this list! All of these items have been put through the test in all of our travels and I will never travel without them! (This list is in no particular order)

1) Rick Steves Guidebook: Rick Steves is the travel man! Seriously, if you don’t know who Rick Steves is, where have you been?! We have purchased his guide books for every country we’ve been to and found them so helpful! He always has the best tips and recommendations for traveling through Europe.

2) XD Design Bobby Backpack: Alright, so this item was a little bit of a splurge for us. However, it has been so useful on our trips! We love all the secret pockets in this backpack and how well thought out it is designed. We always feel like our valuables are perfectly safe in this backpack!

3) Travelon Anti-Theft Crossbody: While my husband usually has the Anti-Theft backpack, I carry the Anti-Theft Crossbody. I know, maybe we are paranoid with all of this “anti-theft” stuff, but honestly it gives me so much peace of mind to know our belongings are safe. This may not be the most fashionable purse ever. But, I love that it is waterproof, easy to clean and I love the locking zippers!

4) Clear TSA Approved Pouches: When packing I can never have too many little bags and pouches to organize! I love having extra TSA approved pouches on hand to organize because you can see what is inside and also use it to carry-on any liquids if needed!

5) Packing Cubes: How did I ever pack before packing cubes? These things are fantastic!! I love how organized our suitcases are when using these! Also if you ever have to open your suitcase in public (like the airport or hotel lobby) you will never have to worry about underwear and clothes spilling out!

6) Trtl Neck Pillow: I honestly really like the Trtl Neck Pillow! Admittedly it takes a little getting used to, but once I figured out how to use it and the most comfortable position for me I fell in love with this “pillow”. On our last trip I got a total of 6 hours of sleep on the airplane and that usually NEVER happens! I also love how packable the Trtl Neck Pillow is! It hardly takes up any space in my backpack!

7) Compression Socks: Alright, a not so glamorous gift but something I use on every trip, compression socks! Not only do they help keep my feet warm during long flights but they also help with circulation!

8) Eye Mask: Before traveling, I always thought eye masks were not necessary. But, I ended up with an eye mask and tried it out one flight and WOW what a difference that made! I’m now sold on eye masks! I would be so lost if I ever forgot to bring this when traveling! I particularly like this type of eye mask because of the extra cushioning around the eye.

9) Universal Power Adapter: Although many hotels have USB ports you could use to charge your phone, there is no way I could travel abroad without at least 2 travel adapters. In fact, this is slightly embarrassing, but we usually pack 4 universal adapters when traveling. It has been so nice to have extras on hand! I also love these power adapters with USB plugins!

10) Nosie Canceling Headphones: Okay, this is my big splurge item! My husband got these headphones a few months ago to help drown out the noise of his office. We used them for the first time this past trip and they made a HUGE difference and the airplane! I won’t lie I’m totally jealous of his headphones and would love to get a pair of my own one day so we don’t have to share. This is a big splurge item, but if you travel often or work in a noisy environment they are worth every penny.
